September on the server

Your year on the server — the hours, the plays, the genre you kept coming back to — no longer has a page of its own. It opens as a story over whatever you were doing, one card at a time, and closes back to it.

• Open it from the Wrapped slide in the dashboard's Smart Hub.
• Move through it card by card; a card with a Share button shares just that card.
• Nothing about it leaves the server unless you share it.

The 4K remaster shelf is in, along with the whole Studio Ghibli run. Newly Added has all of them under This week.

Sunday's maintenance moved the whole library to a new NVMe pool. Two things you should notice:

• Playback starts faster, most of all when you skip ahead in a long film.
• Transcodes no longer queue behind each other when several people are watching at once.

Nothing to do on your side. If a title stopped playing since Sunday, that is a fault, and worth a report.

Bring a film and a hot take. The room opens half an hour early so everyone can get their audio sorted out before the lights go down.

1. Open Watch Parties at 7:30 and join the room from the list.
2. Pick a seat — everyone in the room sees where you are sitting.
3. Chat stays open beside the film; reactions land on your seat.

When a round is running the sidebar says so, with a live tag beside Live Trivia. Join from there, answer against everyone in the room, and the leaderboard settles it.

Scene Finder searches inside a film's dialogue. Pick the title, describe the moment the way you remember it, and it answers with where it happens — or says honestly that nobody in the film says anything like it.

They were overlapping with the busiest hour of the evening, which is when you would have seen the odd stutter. Nothing to do on your side.

A first shelf of 60 audiobooks, readable from any Plex client. Requests for more go through Content Requests, like everything else.
